With some of the mothers and grandmothers....This month we have decided to donate to the St. Vincent De Paul's adoptees again. 30 poor families were each given a pack of 5kgs rice. It was to also coincide with the Mother's Day celebration in the month of May and the rice were given to mothers representing the 30 poor families.
I delivered the rice to the church at Pulau Tikus on 2nd of May and I would like to specially thank my friend, Yee Tswen for sacrificing her Sunday morning and volunteered to help me to carry and deliver those rice. We also sent an old lady and her grandson back to their house in Hong Seng estate, and also another lady to the bus station as the rice were too heavy for them to carry.
