Charity Drive to Kampung Rekom

The sugar, milk and oil...
The clothes...

The Malaysian Nature Society is making a charity trip to Kampung Rekom, Gua Musang on 26th March 2011. It's the orang asli settlement and they are collecting food, clothes (adult and children) and toys for the poor. On their way to this kampung, they will be stopping by other poor villages to distribute the collected items. Eleven 4x4 will be making the trip, the drivers donating their own time and money for the charity drive to Kampung Rekom.

They requested a simple list of items to be donated, including rice, sugar, salt, ikan bilis, milk powder, cooking oil, tea, coffee, milo, cangkul/parang, soft toys, clothes. Any donations must be given by 18th March 2011. Through the contact of a friend of mine, we are donating 10kgs of sugar, 10kgs of cooking oil and 4kgs of milk powder. Besides that, we also sorted out 3big bags of old but wearable clothes to be given to the poors. Anyone interested to donate, please contact me before the deadline. Thank you.
